This fascinating fern is named for its new growth which is initially lava red; then it turns bronze and eventually matures to green. Native to Brazil.

- Fronds are made up of slender, pinnate leaves.
- Tolerant of lower light conditions.
Growth pattern: Shuttlecock rosette
Water: When the top of the soil looks dry. Likes to stay moist.
Ideal Position: North or east facing
Light: Medium, indirect or filtered light.
