🌿 Plant Care Tips
A new and undescribed species, named for its origins, with unusually shaped foliage. Native to the Himalayas. Originally collected by the late Michael Wickenden. Semi-hardy outdoors in a sheltered spot too.
- Leaves are fan-shaped and heavily serrated.
- Fast grower.
- Foliage is predominantly deep green with a metallic sheen and red and bronze veining.
Growth pattern: Rhizomatous, clump-forming & bushy
Water: When the top 2-3cm of soil becomes dry. Do not allow water to sit on the leaves.
Ideal Position: North or east facing
Light: Medium to bright, indirect light.
Recommended Substrate: Simply Houseplant
Humidity disclaimer: This plant will grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet. However, all tropical plants thrive with higher humidity levels. To achieve this we suggest grouping plants together, or putting them in a bathroom or kitchen which gets regular use.
