Begonia lanceolata is a beautiful species known for its lance-shaped leaves and vibrant, lush growth. This begonia makes an excellent addition to any indoor plant collection, appreciated for its striking foliage and relatively easy care requirements.
Native to: Begonia lanceolata is native to the tropical forests of Central and South America, particularly in regions like Colombia and Ecuador, where it thrives in the humid and shaded forest understory.
Water: Water Begonia lanceolata thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry.
Light: This begonia thrives in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch its delicate leaves, so it’s best placed in a location with filtered light.
Humidity: High humidity levels between 60% and 80% are ideal for Begonia lanceolata.
Temperature: Maintain a temperature range of 18°C to 24°C for optimal growth. Begonia lanceolata is sensitive to cold and should be kept away from drafts and temperatures below 15°C. It thrives in warm conditions similar to its native tropical habitat.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
