Anthurium silvigaudens, native to the tropical wet forests of Guatemala and Honduras, is a distinctive species within the Anthurium genus, with glaucous silvery-blue textured foliage when juvenile. It's a rare species that is not common in the hobby.
Native to: Tropical wet forests of Guatemala and Honduras at elevations of 1,500 to 2,000 meters.
Water: Maintain evenly moist soil, allowing the top 1/3rd to dry out between waterings. Ensure the potting mix is well-draining to prevent waterlogging, which can lead to root rot.
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while insufficient light may result in reduced growth.
Humidity: Prefers high humidity levels. In drier indoor environments, consider using a humidifier or placing the plant on a pebble tray with water to increase ambient moisture.
Temperature: Favours temperatures between 18°C to 26°C. Protect the plant from drafts and sudden temperature changes to maintain its health.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
