🌿 Plant Care Tips

Anthurium seleri is a very rare Anthurium native to Eastern Mexico to West Central Guatemala. This plant was originally from Guatemala and shows very distinct similarities to A.seleri however we haven't bloomed it yet to confirm for sure. This species thrives in warm, humid environments. Its narrow (and lobed when mature) leaves and distinctive spathes make it a popular choice among indoor plant enthusiasts seeking to add an exotic touch to their collections.

Native to
Anthurium seleri originates from the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, where it flourishes in the humid, shaded understory.

Water
Maintain consistent moisture by watering when the top 2–3 centimetres of soil feel dry. Ensure the potting mix is well-draining to prevent waterlogging and potential root rot.

Light
Provide bright, indirect light to support healthy growth. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves, while insufficient light may slow development.

Humidity
High humidity levels, ideally between 60% and 80%, are essential. Regular misting, using a humidifier, or placing the plant on a water-filled pebble tray can help maintain appropriate moisture in the air. Its humidity needs also make it suitable for large terrariums.

Temperature
This plant thrives in warm indoor temperatures of 18°C to 27°C. Protect it from cold drafts and sudden changes in temperature to prevent stress and damage.

We offer economy shipping (3-5 day dispatch) and standard delivery (1-3 day dispatch).
