This hybrid produces striking, almost black spathes and dark green, heart shaped leaves which is why it is named 'Black Love'.

• Anthurium andraeanum are commonly called Flamingo Flowers for their glossy, waxy, brightly coloured, long lasting spathes that look unreal.
• Spathes start out deep red before deepening to dark burgundy.
• Spade-shaped, colourful spathes are actually leaves whereas the actual flower is the central spike or spadix.

Growth pattern: Self-heading, bushy & compact

Water: When the top 4-5cm of soil becomes dry.

Ideal Position: East facing

Light: Bright, indirect light.

Humidity disclaimer: This plant will grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet. However, all tropical plants thrive with higher humidity levels. To achieve this we suggest grouping plants together, or putting them in a bathroom or kitchen which gets regular use.
