🌿 Plant Care Tips
This hybrid produces striking, almost black spathes and dark green, heart shaped leaves which is why it is named 'Black Love'. Native to Colombia & Ecuador.
- Anthurium andraeanum are commonly called Flamingo Flowers for their glossy, waxy, brightly coloured, long lasting spathes that look unreal.
- Spathes start out deep red before deepening to dark burgundy.
- Spade-shaped, colourful spathes are actually leaves whereas the actual flower is the central spike or spadix.
Growth pattern: Self-heading, bushy & compact
Water: When the top 4-5cm of soil becomes dry.
Ideal Position: East facing
