Product Information

If you're looking for a taller vivarium option to increase your hardscaping and planting potential, the Alto is it. The enclosure stands at 93.3cm tall (including light canopy) and has the exact same footprint as our Amazonia 56.5cm wide x 44.5cm deep).

It is a complete standalone vivarium package and includes both our LED light system and dual air circulation fans built in and ready to go. Imagine the Amazonia stretched vertically, with some upgraded features to help with the increased height:

  • The LED lens is now clear glass to allow deeper light penetration
  • We've increased the voltage on the circulation system to create greater circulation capability. A potentiometer (dimmer) is also included to reduce the voltage in case you find that you prefer less airflow
  • 2 door handles to allow easy opening and removal of the doors (standard 3" handles can be changed out/customized to your preference)
  • The composite back panel comes standard on the Alto, resulting in a weight reduction of 6kg

Please note there is a 7-10 working day lead time upon purchase.

Because of its size (and to ensure proper packing for safe delivery) the Alto must be collected from our warehouse in Leeds. We can also deliver by freight at a cost of £50 or hand deliver at a rate of £0.50 per mile. Please contact us to discuss this if you are unable to collect.

We offer free mainland delivery on all orders over £60

All plants are shipped using express next day services with DPD, UPS, Parcelforce and Royal Mail.

We offer economy shipping (3-5 day dispatch) and standard delivery (1-3 day dispatch).

For guaranteed next day dispatch please selected Express shipping at checkout available at an additional cost.

Winter shipping is available in the winter months at an additional cost and includes heatpacks and thermal insulation where necessary.

All plants are shipped in their plastic nursery pot unless otherwise stated.

Plant pot sizes can fluctuate +/- 1cm.

We recommend to always size up your decorative pot by 1-2cm larger than the stated plant pot size. For example if you are purchasing a 12cm plant, you should purchase a 14cm decorative pot to ensure it will fit correctly.

We pride ourselves on the love and care with give our plants. Our entire team are plant obsessives at heart and so we go above and beyond to care for the plants we have in stock.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.

Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.

All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.

The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
