Anthurium nigrolaminum 'Gigi' x papillilaminum is a stunning and rare hybrid from Holland, known for its striking leaves that capture the beauty of both parent species. Keep in mind that there may be some variance between seedlings, adding a unique touch to each individual plant.
Native to: As a hybrid, Anthurium nigrolaminum 'Gigi' x papillilaminum does not have a specific native range, but its parent species originate from the tropical regions of South America.
Water: Water when the top 3 cm of substrate is dry. This plant prefers to be kept consistently moist but not waterlogged. Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot. During the growing season, maintain regular watering, reducing frequency during the plant’s dormancy in winter.
Light: This hybrid thrives in bright, indirect light. An east-facing position is ideal as it provides gentle morning sunlight without the risk of scorching the leaves. Avoid direct midday sun to prevent damage to its delicate foliage.
Humidity: While Anthurium nigrolaminum 'Gigi' x papillilaminum will grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet, it thrives with higher humidity levels typical of tropical plants. Aim for a humidity level of around 60% or higher. To achieve this, consider grouping plants together, using a humidifier, or placing the plant in a bathroom or kitchen where humidity levels are naturally higher.
Temperature: Maintain a temperature range of 18°C to 26°C for optimal growth. This hybrid does not tolerate cold well and should be kept away from temperatures below 15°C. It flourishes in warm, stable conditions similar to its native tropical environment.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
