Hoya sp. Gayo, also known as Hoya sp. Aceh Gayo, is a rare and desirable Hoya known for its large, glossy leaves with prominent veining. Its foliage emerges a deep green with silvery veins, creating a striking contrast.
This Hoya species is native to the tropical forests of Aceh, Indonesia, specifically the Gayo Lues region. Its natural habitat consists of warm, humid environments where it grows as an epiphyte, clinging to trees with its roots. Its exotic origins make it adaptable to similar conditions indoors when given proper care.

Water:
Water thoroughly but allow the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings. During the growing season, increase watering frequency slightly, especially when the plant is preparing to bloom. Reduce watering in winter.
Light:
Prefers bright, indirect light. Some direct morning or evening sun is beneficial but avoid harsh midday sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Humidity:
Requires high humidity levels of 60-80%. Regular misting or the use of a humidifier is recommended. Its preference for high humidity also makes it suitable for terrariums if space allows.
Temperature:
Thrives in temperatures between 16–24°C. Avoid exposure to temperatures below 10°C and sudden temperature changes.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
