A rare variety of Hoya known for its spherical flowers and thick waxy variegated foliage.
Water: Water your Hoya thoroughly, allowing the top 2 cm of soil to dry out between waterings. This plant is prone to root rot if overwatered, so ensure that the pot has good drainage. During the growing season, maintain a regular watering schedule, but reduce the frequency during the winter months when the plant's growth slows.
Light: This Hoya prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch its leaves, so place it in a spot where it receives filtered light. It can also adapt to lower light conditions, but optimal growth and flowering occur in bright, indirect light.
Humidity: Hoya thrives in high humidity levels between 60% and 80%. Using a humidifier or a pebble tray with water can help maintain the necessary moisture levels, especially in drier indoor environments. This plant is also well-suited for terrariums, where the natural humidity will support its growth.
Temperature: Maintain a temperature range of 18°C to 24°C for the best results. This plant is sensitive to cold and should be protected from temperatures below 15°C. Providing a warm, stable environment similar to its native tropical habitat will promote healthy growth and flowering.
