It was much bigger than I expected, which I was very happy about.
It was slightly sad looking when I first opened it, however it was exceptionally cold outside, (despite the heat pack) I think it was just having a little attention seeking huff moment, as after a little water and a couple of hours warming up in my plant cabinet it was as perky as ever and in more than excellent condition.
I can highly recommend this company and will certainly order again!

Alocasia sp. 'Jacklyn' is a rare and highly sought-after houseplant, loved for its architectural appearance. Native to Borneo, this plant boasts unique, soft, velcro-like textured leaves that are beautifully lobed, making it a standout addition to any indoor plant collection. Its compact, non-climbing growth habit makes it ideal for small spaces, where it can serve as a captivating focal point.

This Alocasia is not only visually appealing but also relatively easy to care for, making it suitable for plant enthusiasts of all levels. Its preference for bright, indirect light and consistent moisture make it a versatile and rewarding houseplant.

Native to: Alocasia sp. 'Jacklyn' is native to the tropical rainforests of Borneo, where it thrives in humid, shaded environments.

Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water the plant when the top layer of soil begins to dry out. Ensure that the pot has good drainage to prevent root rot, and reduce watering frequency during the winter months when the plant's growth slows.

Light: This plant thrives in bright, indirect sunlight to dappled shade. It is well-suited to north or east-facing windows where it can receive filtered light without direct exposure, which can scorch its delicate leaves.

Humidity: Although Alocasia sp. 'Jacklyn' can grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet, it will thrive with higher humidity levels, typical of its native tropical habitat. To maintain adequate humidity, consider grouping your tropical plants together or placing the Alocasia in a bathroom or kitchen that gets regular use. Alternatively, using a humidifier can help create a more humid environment.

Temperature: Maintain a temperature range of 18°C to 27°C for optimal growth. Avoid exposing the plant to temperatures below 15°C, as it is sensitive to cold and prefers the warmth and stability of indoor conditions.

All plants are shipped in their plastic nursery pot unless otherwise stated.

Plant pot sizes can fluctuate +/- 1cm.

We recommend to always size up your decorative pot by 1-2cm larger than the stated plant pot size. For example if you are purchasing a 12cm plant, you should purchase a 14cm decorative pot to ensure it will fit correctly.

We pride ourselves on the love and care with give our plants. Our entire team are plant obsessives at heart and so we go above and beyond to care for the plants we have in stock.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.

Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.

All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.

The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
